The building was built by the customer and owner of the bathing –house Agha Zeynal in the second half of the XIX century.

A property known as "Chain Building" was built in the early XX century. In 1920 it belonged to the merchant Haji Mammmadhusseyn Mammadov.

The Beyler Mosque located nearby the Shirvanshahs' Palace Complex was built in 1895.
