In the Middle Ages, the Bazaar Square was located on the site of the current Sirataghli Religious-Architectural Complex.
The market rows started from the Double Gates and extended to the Maiden Tower, from there along Asaf Zeynalli Street to the Jame Mosque. The existing caravanserais in Icherisheher were built in this direction.
