As part of the “Earth Hour” international campaign, the initiative organized by IDEA Public Union and the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) received broad support in Azerbaijan.

On March 28 at 8:30 PM, the façade lights of the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs Complex were turned off for one hour.

This action aimed to draw attention to climate change and support environmental protection. The initiative underscores the importance of global solidarity in addressing ecological challenges.
