A documentary film dedicated to the life, activities, and socio-religious environment of the 14th-century Sufi sheikh Abu Said Abdal Bakuvi was screened in Icherisheher.

The film, directed by journalist Malak Valizada, presents Bakuvi’s ascetic way of life, his spiritual legacy, and his role in the spread of the Qalandariyya Sufi order in Baku.

The documentary highlights key aspects of Bakuvi’s life, including his humility and his charitable use of oil revenues, emphasizing his importance in the history of Shirvan.
