On the occasion of the 140th anniversary of Uzeyir Hajibeyli and National Music Day, a series of events was organized by the Administration of the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve. At the Shirvanshahs’ Palace Complex, the Choir named after Jahangir Jahangirov, under the artistic direction of Honored Teacher Tarana Yusifova, performed selected works by the great composer. Scenes presented from the opera Leyli and Majnun and other artistic pieces allowed the audience to experience the harmony of music and theater.

As a continuation of the series, a musical evening titled “Eternal Beauty” was held at the Baku House of Photography, where graduates of the Baku Music Academy showcased the richness of the national musical heritage.

The final stage of the Music Festival concluded with a concert by the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater, featuring performances of timeless masterpieces.
The series of events held in Icherisheher once again elevated the musical legacy of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, turning the city's historical spaces into a vibrant center of musical celebration.
