At around 05:00 this morning, minor erosion was observed in a small section of the historic fortress walls at the intersection of towers No. 13–14, located on Kichik Gala Street.

Based on the preliminary assessment of specialists, the main cause of the erosion is humidity and natural erosion processes resulting from continuous atmospheric precipitation observed in recent days.

Immediately after the incident, the Administration took prompt measures, the area in question was fully secured, and necessary preventive steps were taken to ensure public safety. Work has now commenced to eliminate the consequences in the affected section of the historical monument.

The protection of our historical heritage and the safety of citizens are among the Administration’s top priorities, and the situation remains under constant supervision.
