As part of an official visit to Azerbaijan, the Minister of Finance of the State of Israel and Co-Chair of the Azerbaijan–Israel Joint Commission, Zeev Elkin, visited Icherisheher.

The guest was welcomed by Fuad Khalilov, Member of the Board of the “Icherisheher” State Historical and Architectural Reserve, along with members of the delegation. During the visit, the minister toured the Maiden Tower, the Siratagly religious and architectural complex, and the Shirvanshahs’ Palace Complex.

In addition, the guest was provided with detailed information about other historical and architectural monuments of Icherisheher, as well as ongoing efforts aimed at expanding tourism opportunities.
