On the occasion of State Sovereignty Day — September 20 — Icherisheher hosted the “Baku Quest 2025 | Icherisheher” project, bringing together history and youth. The championship was organized by the Administration of the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve and the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation, in partnership with the National Council of Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations Union, the Azerbaijan Volunteers Union, the “Böyük Qayıdış” Youth Organization, the “CAVAN” Youth Movement, the Platform of Azerbaijani Students and Alumni, the “Young Volunteers” Public Union and the “Support for Youth Education” Public Union.
A total of 36 teams and 540 young participants took part in the championship.

The opening ceremony was held at the Gosha Gala Square. The aim of the project was to strengthen teamwork, strategic thinking and interest in history among young people, as well as to promote volunteerism.

The route of the largest Quest Championship in the South Caucasus allowed participants to explore the narrow streets, architectural gems and historical monuments of Icherisheher from a new perspective. The tasks covered both well-known and lesser-known but historically important sites of the reserve, taking young people on a journey through the past.

At the end of the intellectual competition, the winning students and volunteers were awarded cups, medals and special prizes by Rüfət Mahmud, Chairman of the Board of the "Icherisheher" State Historical-Architectural Reserve, and Yusif Valiyev, Acting Executive Director of the Azerbaijan Youth Foundation.

The event concluded with a concert featuring popular performers beloved by the youth.
