Two significant events promoting Azerbaijan’s cultural heritage took place in Icherisheher — the presentation of the documentary film “World Without Shadow” and the grand opening of the Azerbaijan Miniature Art Museum.

The events began with the film screening at the ISESCO Regional Office. The film’s authors — artists Jamila Gashimova and Afaq Imanzade — spoke to the audience about the concept and creative direction of their work. The presentation was attended by the Chairman of the Board of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, Rufat Mahmud, along with various cultural and public figures.

Following the screening, guests proceeded to the opening of the Azerbaijan Miniature Art Museum, organized in the Molla Ahmad Mosque — a 14th-century heritage monument. Distinguished representatives of the scientific and artistic community spoke at the ceremony, emphasizing that the museum is an important step in studying and preserving Azerbaijani miniature art for future generations.

During the tour, the museum’s first visitors had the opportunity to view rich and diverse examples of miniature art.

These events have brought new vitality to the art of Azerbaijani miniature and further enriched the cultural atmosphere of Icherisheher.
