A memorandum of cooperation on digitalization has been signed between the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration and #Bir, the first fully integrated banking, payment, and e-commerce ecosystem in the Caucasus.

According to the document, the parties will jointly implement AI-based digital solutions for visitors within the Reserve area, including smart navigation, multilingual guide systems, QR-code-based information services, an AI chatbot, and a unified mobile website.

The project also envisions strengthening digital payment and banking infrastructure, digitizing museum and event tickets, and introducing a Unified Visitor Center and a loyalty program.

At the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Board of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration Rufat Mahmud and Head of the Bir ecosystem Farid Huseynov emphasized the importance of this cooperation in terms of the integration of #historical #heritage and digital innovation.

The project will be presented within the framework of the 13th UN World Urban Forum (#WUF13) held in Baku, showcasing Azerbaijan’s “Smart Reserve” approach on an international platform.
