A presentation of Icherisheher was held within the framework of the General Assembly of Mexican cities included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, in San Francisco de Campeche, Mexico.

During the presentation, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Mexico, Seymur Fataliyev, and Chairman of the Board of the “Icherisheher” State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, Rufat Mahmud, delivered speeches via video message. Rufat Mahmud spoke about the historical and cultural significance of Icherisheher, as well as the challenges of managing life within a historic urban environment. He noted that the ancient city is a vivid example of integrating heritage preservation with modern urban living.

During the presentations, photographs reflecting both the ancient and modern character of the city were showcased and received great interest from participants.
