Azerbaijan's UNESCO World Heritage Route: From Icherisheher to Sheki

On July 11, as part of the City Day celebrations in Sheki, an event entitled "Azerbaijan's UNESCO World Heritage Route: From Icherisheher to Sheki" was held within the framework of the Year of Urban Planning and Architecture.
As part of the event, a panel discussion titled "UNESCO World Heritage: Conservation, Management, and Future Development Prospects of Historic Cities" was organized. During the session, Rufat Mahmud, Chairman of the Board of the Administration of the Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve, delivered a speech highlighting the ongoing efforts to preserve and manage historic cities inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. He also shared his views on the cooperation established in this field and future development prospects.
