You are invited to a workshop dedicated to rethinking Baku’s urban green infrastructure through the concept of a continuous Green Corridor, connecting existing parks and underutilised open spaces into a coherent, accessible, and people-oriented network.

Organized within the Azerbaijan Urban Campaign on the road to WUF13, the event will take place on January 23, 2026, in Baku. The workshop focuses on the “Green Route” concept, aligned with SDG 11, promoting universal access to safe, inclusive, and accessible green and public spaces. The discussion will explore how green corridors can support ecological connectivity, active mobility, social interaction, and healthier urban living.

The workshops are organized by Design Bureau LLC and Icherisheher State Historical-Architectural Reserve Administration, in partnership with the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture and UN-Habitat.
