On January 28, 2016 scientific and practical conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous historian, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Honored Scientist, and Azerbaijan State Prize Laureate Sara Balabay gizi Ashurbeyli has been held in Icheri Sheher Reserve Department.

The following topics were heard:

• Azerbaijan-India economic and cultural relations in the medieval history on Sara Ashurbeyli's researches;
• Memories about Sara Ashurbeyli and life devoted to science;
• The Ashurbeyov brothers' house;
• The world of colors of Sara Ashurbeyli;
• The role of Sara khanum Ashurbeyli in the history of Azerbaijan;
• The reports were published and presented to libraries.
