Concert dedicated to the National Music Day and birthday anniversary of the great Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyli and jointly organized by the Administration of State Historical-Architectural Reserve “Icherisheher” will take place in front of the Maiden Tower on September 18.

Shahin Verdiyev, Deputy Director of the Recording Studio of CJSC Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting reported that the concert will be directed by Honored Group: Said Rustamov Orchestra of Folk Musical Instruments of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company. The artistic director and principal conductor of honored collective is Faig Sadigov.

  Masterpieces of Uzeyir Hajibeyli and other famous composers will be performed by soloists of Azerbaijan Television and Radio Broadcasting Company as well as other well-known musicians.
