There are people who are like bridges between countries and peoples. The great master artist Tahir Salahov is one of such people. Since 2012, the home museum of famous artist has been operating in Icherisheher. The exposition of the museum is dedicated to the life and activity of the Azerbaijani artist Tahir Salahov. The structure of the house remains as it is built. The person feels that the artist has just left the room this moment - all the things are vivid and functional. The exposition was organized on 3 floors. The artist's workshop is located on the 3rd floor of the museum. There are portraits reflecting the image of Tahir Salahov's contemporaries - the people who were significant in the modern world of the 60s - Gara Garayev, Fikret Amirov, Dmitry Shostakovich, Mstislav Rostropovich and other artists. In addition, the artist exhibits a large number of paintings, compositions and works created in other genres. "Baki", "On watch system", "Gara Garayev", "Aydan", "Waves of the Caspian Sea", "Dmitry Shostakovich", "Mstislav Rostropovich", "Neftchi", "Windy Nardaran", " Pomegranate flowers", "and The women of Absheron" inspire visitors deeply.

The artist's memorial items, graphics and oil paintings, as well as creative works, photographs of his public activity and decorative applied art samples are also demonstrated. The House - Museum carries out its activities in close contact with other museums, artists' associations, scientific research, education, culture and art departments that fit their profile.

Tahir Salahov presented 735 exhibits to the museum, including his paintings and personal belongings. The carpet collection and photo archive are one of the most interesting exhibits of the museum. In total, the museum's collection consists of 798 exhibits.
